- Prepare and submit numerous pharmacy changes of ownership in 50 states, along with Medicare/Medicaid change of ownership applications on behalf of a specialty pharmacy.
- Advise client in connection with multiple complex transactions involving mergers, acquisitions and arrangements with other healthcare providers and entities, including analysis of transactions, filing of licensure applications and notices, and preparing and filing more than 1000 Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment applications.
- Advise a healthcare portfolio company with respect to relocation of the portfolio company and assist with obtaining more than twenty state durable medical equipment (DME) licenses and advise client on various Medicaid enrollment issues.
- Advise retail pharmacy client on Medicaid and Medicare billing and claims reimbursement, Part D audits and appeals, and DME enrollment.
- Advise national long-term care company with 120 facilities in 19 states on licensing and Medicare/Medicaid provider enrollment matters in multiple acquisitions, divestitures and other transactions.
- Advise private equity client regarding Medicare enrollment in the acquisitions of physical therapy providers in multiple states.
- Serve as healthcare regulatory counsel in connection with a high-value and multi-faceted sale of a large specialty pharmacy company; representation included regulatory filings for almost 300 pharmacy licenses, permits, and Medicare and Medicaid applications involving significant coordination among agencies. Prepare change of ownership submission to California Department of Managed Healthcare on behalf of Envision Healthcare related to Medicare Part D plan.
- Advise client on state licensure and Medicaid issues in acquisitions of pediatric home health agencies in 10 states.
- Advise clients on changes to State licensure, licensure surveys and EMTALA complaints and plans of correction.
