Tara Turner is a commercial litigation associate always eager to pursue clients’ goals, big or small. A self-starter, she is incredibly efficient and consistently anticipates client and litigation needs. Tara has a broad litigation practice, including contract and employment disputes, where she works on cases at all stages of litigation – from drafting complaints to preparing expert witnesses for trial. As with everything she does, Tara’s unmatched attention to detail, curiosity for the law and fierce advocacy make her integral to both cases and clients.
Her most significant experience is serving as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS). Tara also brings experience from her externship with the Honorable Judge Michael Watson of the Southern District of Ohio and her representation of The Ohio State University students in a variety of civil matters, including lease disputes.
