Michelle Gomez concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation and class action defense in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations. She has successfully represented clients in bench and jury trials, and has successfully defended both large and small businesses and individuals in product liability, consumer protection, data breach, construction defect, warranty and insurance disputes. No matter the size, Michelle works diligently to analyze potential outcomes at the outset of any case and she works closely with clients to develop detailed litigation strategies based on individual case needs.

Michelle excels at negotiating settlements and is often regarded as collaborative and even-tempered by colleagues, as well as her opposing counsel. Praised for her skill in the courtroom and at the mediation table, she is a dealmaker who pursues both creative and practical solutions to meet the needs of the clients.

<li>Successfully resolved hundreds of individual claims asserting various state and federal causes of action against a grocery store chain following a phishing incident.</li>
<li>Successfully mediated or resolved numerous matters alleging bad faith insurance practices.</li>
