<li>Obtained summary judgment in favor of former chief executive officer of national religious organization in suit brought by executive board of directors alleging fraud and breach of fiduciary duty in effort to regain control of various “breakaway” agencies and real property owned by those agencies, then drafted appellate briefs and presented oral argument before appellate court, with trial court decision affirmed on appeal.</li>
<li>Obtained summary judgment in favor of employer in federal age discrimination suit brought by former employee on theory that employee should be judicially estopped from asserting claim based on her failure to list that claim as an asset of her bankruptcy estate when she filed for bankruptcy.</li>
<li>Obtained summary judgment in favor of fire protection district, its fire chief, chairman and the firefighters’ union in suit brought by former employee alleging Title VII sex discrimination, breach of contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress, malicious interference with business rights and criminal violations of the state Open Meetings Act.</li>
<li>Represented clients in discrimination cases in employment litigation involving claims under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and state discrimination laws.</li>
