<li>Defending the Republic of Nicaragua in an ICSID arbitration brought by a U.S. investor under DR-CAFTA alleging damages of over $500 million.</li>
<li>Defending the Republic of Belarus in an ICSID arbitration under the Belarus-United Kingdom BIT in connection with an approximately $200 million dispute in the solar energy sector.</li>
<li>Represented U.S. investors in an ICSID arbitration seeking compensation from Grenada under the U.S.-Grenada BIT for the expropriation of an investment in a resort development.</li>
<li>Represented International Scholars as amicus curiae in briefing before U.S. Court of Appeal for the D.C. Circuit concerning enforcement of ICISD awards in the United States in NextEra and 9Ren v. Spain.</li>

<li>Represented U.S. investor in a coal mine dispute under NAFTA Chapter 11 against Canada before an ad hoc UNCITRAL tribunal.</li>
<li>Represented one of the world’s largest paper producers in a NAFTA Chapter 11 investor-state arbitration challenging Canada’s subsidization of a competing paper mill.</li>
<li>Represented Central Asian clients as claimants’ counsel in ICSID (AF) arbitration against Central Asian state in dispute related to alleged expropriation of resort properties.</li>
<li>Served as respondent’s counsel to Central Asian sovereign client in ICSID arbitration related to the alleged expropriation of a shopping mall.</li>
<li>Defended Malaysian corporation against breach of contract claims brought by U.S. entity in a AAA-ICDR arbitration.</li>
