A clerkship for the Southern District of Texas combined with experience as the Chief of Staff for a Texas state representative provided Brigette Dechant with a solid platform on which to build her growing practice. In addition to performing legal research and drafting orders and recommendations, Brigette also gained a well-rounded perspective on case management, the development of case strategy and the workings of the federal court system.
