Ava Claypool focuses her practice on complex civil and labor and employment disputes, including wage and hour class actions; California Labor Code Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) representative actions; and claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation. She also has traditional labor experience, such as wrongful termination and contract interpretation grievances and arbitration hearings. Ava has experience being involved in all stages of litigation, including drafting initial pleadings, engaging in discovery practice, preparing and appearing for depositions, drafting and conducting direct and cross-examinations and developing settlement recommendations.
