The philosophy of our summer program is to give law students the experience of what it is like to be a lawyer within our office. Our program is designed to be the first step of development and the groundwork for a rewarding career with our firm. Every effort is made to expose summer associates to all aspects of the firm, by receiving substantive work, professional training and social networking opportunities.

Work Assignments

Summer associates work directly with assigning attorneys and are not limited to any practice area. Constructive and positive feedback is provided throughout the program, directly from the attorneys assigning the work, as well as in formal review meetings. Training

We recognize that training is a critical component in every attorney’s professional development. Training sessions throughout the summer program include:

Mentoring

The mentoring program matches each summer associate with a mentor who will help them acclimate to the office and provide guidance in prioritizing and balancing work assignments. Summer associates are advised of their progress on a regular basis and are given formal feedback sessions.

Social Events

Our summer program values developing positive relationships at work and social events are planned throughout to encourage interaction among our summer associates and lawyers. In addition to happy hours, casual lunches and impromptu gatherings, past events have included:&nbsp;
